Two church services down and one to go. I wore my pink wig and green wings and doc martens to the morning service: as an angel, whose pphone plays Christina Aguilera when God calls. Yup. I'm just that cool. And at the nursing home I talked about being a single mom, which is where I identify with Mary.
So far, so good. Now, if I can manage not to set myself on fire during the candlelight service tonight, it'll be a success.
So, anyway: God told me to tell you that She loves you. That She's thrilled that you've chosen writing as a way of participating as co-creators in Her Creation. And in the season when we celebrate God-with-us, Emmanuael, Word made flesh, born to a young woman outside of the acceptable sexual standards, She applauds your openmindedness, humour, inclusivity (and smut!). And She loves the way you care for one another.
