Hey, I have a question for you: If you closed your eyes and imagined that someone was knitting you a scarf... What kind/colour of scarf would you be wanting?

Sadly, no. Due to my skewed and traumatizing education, Canadian literature is strictly a post-high school experience for me -- relatively new.

Unless I am mistaken and you're asking these subtle questions for the purpose of a psyche study, I think you could knit a ten-yard neon green scarf with hot pink tassels and it'd still be the most awesome thing in the world.

Grey/Brown scarf it is. Plus, I have a copy of The Cunning Man I'm going to send you. I'd say it's one of my favorite Davies novels, but it's probably closer to the truth to say I love them all.

Actually, helpful is the one that made me laugh... you should hear the intonation my friends give that word sometimes.

Absolutely - but not too early, since I just worked 34 hours within 48... and then slept for two hours, and went out and now it is 2:30 am, and I am tipsy... (but didn't do anything... um... untoward...)

This afternoon it is - I am awake now, and have already had two conversations with my mom. All I need to do is have a bit more coffee, brave the outside world in a dog-walking kinda way, and my thoughts can be all settlement, all the time.
