(no subject)

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] nezumiko, who stole it from [livejournal.com profile] duelist.

Name a character/pairing and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudo-canon.

Ask about anyone I've written about, and I'll do my best to tell you something you don't already know.

I think I'll be obnoxious and ask for Raidou. :D

And for an alternate...Renji?

Renji

1. Raidou is a strong shinobi - from being assigned to the Hokage during the finals of the chuunin exams to arriving during Asuma's last fight with the Akatsuki... he's in places you would only send someone strong and really, really reliable. Someone you can trust when everything goes horribly wrong.

2. Because he's seen so much go so wrong (like the Hokage dying when he was on duty), Raidou likes having a plan, a back up plan, and knowing his options outside the plans. He feels deep satisfaction when things go according to plan.

3. As long as Genma is with him, Raidou doesn't mind long assignments away from home. It's the worry about Genma that gets to him, rather than homesickness, when he is sent out alone or with another team.

Renji

1. Sex is highly emotionally attaching for Renji - and he hasn't figured that out yet.

2. Renji is confident about his own judgement, which is what allows him to cede control to other people. Once he trusts someone, he doesn't second guess the trust.

3. Renji quite happily spends days doing absolutely nothing, when he can get away with it.

I'll join Ki's obnoxiousness and ask for your take on Genma.

But if you're not happy about that one, how about Kurenai?

[identity profile] beachlass.livejournal.com 2007-05-23 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Kurenai

1. There is some other reason than "OMG Delicate Blossuming Pregnant Flower" that she is not out on missions right now.

2. Her mourning for Asuma is complicated by feelings for someone else.

3. When she had time, afterwards, to realize she'd faced down Itachi, her knees gave out and she threw up.

Genma

1. Genma is fiercely loyal and attentive to the needs of his friends. Once Genma considers you one of his people, he'll die for you, kill for you, crawl through the gutter with you (hold up the chuunin exams for you).

2. He has high expectations of loyalty in return - but only from his small group of close friends. He is realistic, if not pessimistic about expectations from other people. He is very observant of group dynamics, and very accurate in his assessments.

3. Genma loves to swim: ocean, creeks, pools... especially on a mission, if he can safely take some time for a swim, he will. It grounds him.

Pakkun is fond of Kakashi, and worries about him, the way an aunt might worry about a brilliant but high strung nephew.

Pakkun is afraid of deep water... sure he's got his mad nin-dog skillz, but the fact remains that dogs built like him sink head-first.

Pakkun likes going to the opera. shhh... don't tell anyone

KAKASHI! :D

[identity profile] beachlass.livejournal.com 2007-05-26 01:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry I'm so late: but you get a mostly painkiller free response.

1. Kakashi is a really mashed up combination of intense caring and laid back whatever laziness. He often uses the appearance of not caring to cover how much he is noticing and anticipating, but it's not all illusion - if he had continued being as tightly wound as he was when he was a teenager, he would have snapped. Ever seen one of the Mythbusters episodes where they end up snapping high tension cable? Makes an Itachi flavoured mess.

2. Kakashi is not fond of becoming attached to people because it hurts, dammit, when they leave or die or leave and die. But it still sneaks up on him, and he doesn't realize someone has a piece of his heart until it is too late.

3. When Kakashi and Sasuke meet up, he's going to be attracted to slightly grownup! Sasuke, and hate himself for it. Things are not going to go well.

And that is why I adore Kakashi so much. :3

Tsunade! *grins*

Hm. I will ask for Iruka... and, to be an oddball, I will ask about... Hiashi, maybe. Or Chouji. Or Shikato/Shikaku.

Feel free to pick and choose!
