So, eshala and I were talking on the phone (no surprise) and the election came up and she made some disparaging comment about Jack Layton.

"But, I, um... I've always liked Layton" I demurred. "Have I not been paying attention? Is there a reason?"

She gave me a couple reasons, and followed up with "And then, of course, you just have bad taste in men."

Clearly I should have just stuck to my admiration of Olivia Chow.
