Once I thought up the other Kakashi, there was never too much doubt in my mind that she would kill him... the only other option would have been somehow sending him back to his own time with a healthy bit of maiming.. but even that, Kashi wouldn't have been too sure was a good idea.
Kisame: The portal is right there, we can just send him back... Kashi: He's an arrogant self centred jerk. Konoha doesn't need that in a Hokage. Kisame: Arrogant, says the woman deciding what is best for an alternate dimension... Kashi: If we stop arguing about it now, we could have the body disposed of before Dick omes home.
