So. ... I'm reading through Eugene Peterson's The Message. Reading his contemporary language version of the psalms. I'm trying to get some more homework done, and not freak out about my final ministry interview tomorrow. Or the snowy drive I have tonight. And then? M-preg. WTF? No. Really. What. The. Fuck

Psalm 7, verse 14, according to Peterson.

Look at that guy!
He had sex with sin,
he's pregnant with evil.
Oh, look! He's having
the baby - a Lie-Baby!

So, this is beachlass, curled up and rocking back and forth at her desk... oh, no.... it wasn't enough that the first hymn on Sunday had a verse about life spurting out of the throbbing vein... or that I had to preach on short notice about the body of Christ... or that lykomancer prompted an entirely filthy image to go with God's hand. Or that, 'debriefing' makes me think of panties dropping. No. Apparently, I needed mpreg in my psalms. And so now, I'm thinking of Itachi, pregnant with evil and his lie-baby. I am so fucked.
