sometimes a girl just needs explosions

eshala and I were talking the other night, continuing a conversation she had had with some other people. We were agreed that a dating deal-breaker would be a person who wasn't up for seeing bad but fun movies. And then she asked me for a list of 5 movies that fall into that category. Movies I know are bad, but watch over and over again. I blanked at the time, and couldn't think past Godzilla (any Godzilla, but especially the bad one with Matthew Broderick) but it's been nagging in the back of my head.
So.. in no particular order, and I'm not claiming they are my top or central ones..
5 Bad Movies I Love.
1. Better Off Dead/One Crazy Summer (come on, they don't actually count as two separate movies!)
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (not the show, the movie, with Luke Perry)
3. Hudson Hawk
4. Blade (all three of them)
5. The Mummy

Date: 2007-03-25 02:41 am (UTC)that is very true! someone not willing to see a bad but fun movie would definately be a date deal breaker. i mean, you've got to live a little right!?!? and be able to laugh at something so delightfully ridiculous.
