Lost and Found

Things found today:

My package of garbage tags (the stickers that have to be on bags for municipal pickup)
A list of the points system for immigrating to Canada
Two more balls of yarn under the cedar chest
Hey! That book I thought I had. Yes, that one, not any of the other nine hundred book. I wonder how many books I actually do have?

Lying on the floor wheezing asthmatically into the phone, it occurs to me I haven't found my inhaler. Not on any of the 6 levels of this house, not at the bottom of my purse.

Laptop bag!

Oh, that special category of lost items - things packed away into travel bags that were never thoroughly unpacked. Plus, fishing around and finding my inhaler I also found the hand cream I've been searching for the past month.

Lost?

My sanity. It's a little early in the game, but I'm already beginning to get that - oh noes! - I packed my sanity into one of these boxes, and now I can't find it.

But at least I can breathe again.
