Five Things Captain Jack Harkness Likes About Ianto Jones' Shirts
 

1. The colours: Jack guesses at Ianto's mood from the colour of his shirt He hasn't a steady correlation yet, other than the fact that he' managed to stain the new dark pink one with hasty handjobs the last three times Ianto wore it. Jack's not sure that speaks to Ianto's mood, though. The second to last time Ianto had punched him before unbuttoning his flies.
2. The cuffs: The way they slip past his jacket sleeves and shift make Jack's fingers itch. And when they're 16 hours and counting into a crisis, and Ianto has rolled up his sleeves revealing hairy forearms and bony wrists, it's like a Victorian flash of ankle, and if John wasn't hard before from adrenaline, the sight of Ianto in rolled up shirt sleeves always does the trick.
3.  The buttons: Ianto's buttons are always well sewn. Jack suspects that Ianto replaces the original buttons with stronger ones, and he's certain that Ianto has reinforced the stitching, because they're almost impossible to rip off. It means slipping each little button through it's tight little hole to undress Ianto. Unbuttoning Ianto's shirt is it's own stage of foreplay. 
4. The textures: The linen shirts are just a little bit rough under Jack's fingers, and wrinkle wonderfully, making Ianto look marvellously rumpled. Jack can tell the blue shirts apart by feel in the dark. One has a raised thread, one is almost slippery and one is a thin smooth cotton.
5. Pushed apart: To reveal Ianto's flushed chest, nipples hard, rising and falling as Ianto pants under Jack's mouth and fingers. Sometimes Jack can bribe Ianto with a promise to pay his drycleaning for the week, and then Ianto will leave his shirt on, giving Jack skin warmed fabric to fist, or slide hs hands underneath. Afterwards, Ianto is red-cheeked and sweaty in a dress shirt half off his shoulders, and Jack kisses him gently while sliding the shirt off, and gathering Ianto into his arms
