Question: What do your favorite characters eat for breakfast?
Ianto likes toast, fried eggs and coffee for breakfast. It's what he'll order if they're out, but really, he prefers to make it himself.
He likes a thinly sliced bread for toast, prefers it to be a little dense, wants it buttered while it's still hot, and uses a toast rack because he hates the condensation from hot toast sitting on a plate.
He has a small cast iron pan he uses for the eggs - fried in butter, with salt and pepper, the edges crispy and the yolks still runny. Ianto gets his eggs are the Roath market, can't stand the stale eggs from the store.
And the coffee, well, the coffee he makes himself, of course.
Jack has and will eat anything for breakfast. He likes a plate piled with sausages and fried potatoes with his eggs and toast. He'll steal bites of Gwen's waffles, moaning theatrically at the mouthful complete with fruit and whipped cream. He tells stories of improbable alien breakfast foods, with more than occasional digressions into morning after stories.
But Jack's favorite breakfast thing is a kiss from Ianto. One hand wrapped around his blue striped mug, hot with Ianto's coffee, the other cupping Ianto from jaw to the nape of his neck. A few buttery crumbs on Ianto's lips, and a slight smear of yolk for Jack to taste as he licks into Ianto's mouth..
