I heard an interview earlier this week with a couple of Canadian university students who collaborated on a project called American Able. It's a project that takes on the traditional images of women's bodies and sexuality (that are perpetuated through advertising campaigns like those of American Apparel) with a series of photos with a disabled model (one of the collaborators).
It's marvelous.
