Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant is an amazing movie that I caught the other day and am re-watching now. Even if you think you're tired of vampire movies, please give this one a try. It's droll, and unexpected and visually awesome. And it has Ken Watanabe.

And I just finished reading Soulless - a fun, sexy steampunk/vampire/werewolf tale with a delightfully ascerbic heroine. I'm downloading gailcarriger's next two books RIGHT NOW.

How about a tasty kind of awesome?

Pumpkin Soup, a recipe from Gluten Free Girl. We had it last night, and the boy and I agreed that it was thoroughly tasty.
