Feeling much delighted at the response to my first foray into smut peddling. After months of lurking, I'm finding fandom to be a charming place to actually participate in. 

Apart from the online chatter tonight, my other highlights have been spinning (B's red and blue wool roving) with the drop spindle (my god, that is as addictive as porn), and a lovely walk on the beach with the dog. It's an almost full moon tonight, and the clouds cleared away, the wind dropped, and the remaining surf from this afternoon was swooshing in and out. I love walking along the shoreline, on the hard packed sand, right on the water's edge, so that when the bigger waves slide up the beach, you have to do a sideways skip to keep from getting a soaker.

having really just started dipping my toes into fanfic myself i'm right there with you about first time smut nerves and whatnot - it's really great to realize how many nice folks are on lj! well, and it helps that you write good fic too no? :)

The lake at sunset is one of my favourite places.. the light changes everywhere, the sky and the lake positively glow.
